You Are Energy. Stop Carrying What Isn't Yours.
Take a breath with me for a moment.
Feel your chest rise. Feel your heartbeat, quiet and steady beneath your skin. That rhythm you feel is not just a metaphor for aliveness — it is a measurable electrical current, a wave moving through you right now. You are, quite literally, a field of energy having a human experience.
This is not just spiritual poetry. It's physics.
Energy is every where and every thing. Master it and you master your life.
We Are, Literally, Energy
Every cell in your body runs on an electrical charge. Your heart generates the strongest electromagnetic field of any organ, one that scientists can measure several feet away from your body with sensitive instruments. Your nervous system communicates through electrical impulses. Your brain produces measurable brainwaves. Even the subtle positive and negative charges moving through your cells generate what many traditions have long called the auric field — a field of energy that surrounds and moves through you.
And it doesn't stop with us. Trees exchange electrical signals through their root systems. Soil holds and conducts charge. Water carries and transmits energy in ways researchers are still uncovering. Rocks, metals, the ocean, the wind — everything, down to its smallest particles, vibrates. Nothing in this universe is truly still. Nothing is separate from energy. It is the fabric everything is woven from — a truth that mystics have described in metaphor and scientists are now describing in equations, two languages pointing toward the same quiet truth.
So when we say "everything is energy," we are not asking you to abandon reason for faith. We are asking you to see that reason and faith, science and spirit, have been telling us the same story all along, just in different accents.
What We Carry Without Realizing It
Here is where it becomes deeply personal.
If everything carries energy, then everything we come into contact with leaves a trace on us — and we leave a trace on it. The people we love and the people who hurt us. The home we grew up in. The job that drained us. The relationship we stayed in a year too long. The grudge we still replay at 2am. The clothes in the back of our closet that remind us of who we used to be. The apology we never received. The version of ourselves we haven't forgiven.
We are, by nature, gatherers. We hold on — to memories, to people, to possessions, to old identities — often because holding on feels safer than the unknown of letting go. But energy, unlike matter, isn't meant to be hoarded. It's meant to move. It's meant to flow through us, not calcify within us.
When we cling to what no longer serves our highest good, we don't just carry a memory. We carry a frequency. And over time, that heaviness starts to feel like something else entirely — it starts to feel like exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix, like sadness with no clear source, like a hollow unworthiness that logic can't argue away, like a mind so burnt out it can't remember what lightness felt like.
This is not a character flaw. This is what happens when a being made of energy stops letting energy move.
The Sacred Practice of Letting Go
Letting go is not abandonment. It's not failure, and it's not forgetting. Letting go is simply energy returning to its natural state — flow.
Ask yourself gently, without judgment:
Which relationships in my life feel like sunlight, and which feel like static?
What am I holding onto out of fear, guilt, or habit — not love?
Where in my home, my body, or my calendar do I feel heavy, cluttered, or stuck?
What old story about myself am I still carrying that was never true, or is no longer true?
You do not need to release everything at once. Energy work is not a demolition — it's a devotion. It is the daily, tender practice of asking: Does this still serve my highest light? Does this still love me back?
When the honest answer is no, letting go becomes an act of radical self-respect. Not a loss, but a homecoming.
What Happens When You Release What No Longer Serves You
Something beautiful happens when we finally release what we've outgrown — the low-vibrational people, places, possessions, and patterns that have been quietly dimming our light: space opens.
And nature, energetic as it is, abhors a vacuum. What you release, you make room to replace. Lighter relationships. Clearer thinking. A body that finally exhales. A version of you that isn't performing wellness but is actually, quietly, well.
This is how the heaviness of depression, anxiety, unworthiness, and burnout begins to lift — not through force, not through hustling your way to healing, but through the simple, sacred act of releasing what was never yours to carry in the first place, and trusting that your energy, freed, will find its way back to abundance.
You are not broken. You are not too much or not enough. You are a being of energy who has simply been carrying too much of what wasn't love.
A Gentle Invitation
You don't have to release it all today. You just have to begin.
Tonight, choose one thing — a grudge, a drawer, a relationship you've been afraid to name honestly — and simply ask it: Are you still serving my highest good?
Listen. Your body already knows the answer. It always has.
And when you're ready, let it go — not with anger, not with force, but with the same unconditional love you'd offer anyone leaving your life for the last time: Thank you. I release you in peace. I am ready for what's next.
Because everything is energy. And you, dear one, were always meant to flow.
